| We take care to create both a relaxing and a professional environment. BashCurl Farm 2 caters to riders of all levels who want to have fun, progress in their training, and form lasting partnerships with their horses. The stalls feature screen fronts, either on the upper half, or all the way to the floor promoting air flow and brightness, and better psychological health for the horses. A horse's respiratory system is not only extremely important for working and training, but is also one of their most delicate components. To ensure optimum respiratory health, the barn was carefully planned to allow optimum air flow, which pulls hot air out of the barn, and cool air in from the doorways. Having so much air flow keeps dust, moisture, and mold to a minimum, creating a healthier environment overall. It consistently maintains a temperature at least 10 to 15 degrees below summer temperature outside. We do not heat the barn in winter, because heated barns have been shown to promote illness and bacterial infections in horses, however, the barn stays ventilated and yet maintains a temperature about 10 degrees warmer inside. The barn is very bright, with large doorways and has skylights through out the barn to let in as much light as possible. The brightly lit arena is groomed each week to be sure the footing is always optimal. The arena measures an inside length of 150' x 70'. On the days that are too lovely to spend be in an arena, there are approximately 3 miles of riding trails. Doc the Greyhound enjoys working in the arena with Lisa ^ Additionally, in 2007 we will be hosting some clinics with high level trainers. Boarders have first priority in participating as riders in these clinics, and of course, pay no auditing fees. Education should be a group effort, with everyone learning as much from each other and outside sources as they can. When you entrust us with your horse's care, we take that trust very seriously. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to serve you better! Rates are $375.00 per month ( price subject to change with increased costs for materials) Full Board only, entails stall, and daily turn out ( weather permitting, we do turn out in light rain, but we do not turn out in T- storms, heavy rains or snow) Your stall is cleaned daily, and the feed, hay and shavings come from local vendors. We can also blanket and unblanket your horse once each day. More changes are charged to the boarder. The barn does schedule your worming and vaccines, and can schedule farrier work if desired. Any other services ( such as injury/ailment treatments, bathing, clipping) are to be done by the owner, or the farm may provide these additional services for a fee, which will be included on your board bill. |
